  • Coffee & Conversation

    A monthly gathering of Chamber members gives each attendee the opportunity to pitch their goods and services for a minute or two to a breakfast crowd that often exceeds 45 attendees.

  • Business After Business (BAB)

    This event is held quarterly at a member location. Check the Chamber calendar at www.southavenchamber.com for details. BAB is one of the Chamber's primary networking vehicles with an average of 75 members attending these events where food and fun is the focus.

  • Quarterly Luncheons

    This event focuses on the business of the Chamber and the state of the business community. Featured at each event is a well known and informative speaker. At our spring luncheon, Mayor Greg Davis presents the always-anticipated State of the City address.

• Southaven Magazine Online PDF

  15,000 copies are distributed annually. This is the major relocation tool used by the Chamber and area realtors and serves as a visitor's guide advertising members in lodging, dining, shopping and attractions businesses. The magazine contains essential community information and a Business Directory with the names of our Chamber members - listed alphabetically and by category. Additionally, the Southaven magazine can be viewed on the City's website www.southaven.com and the Chamber website.

• Calendar

  Post your up-coming events on our community calendar which is a link on the Chamber's website.



• Business Referrals

  Each year thousands of referrals are given from our customer referral database in which we refer exclusively to Chamber members. Plus, thousands of magazines and member brochures are distributed annually.



• Downtown Revitalization

  The 51 & Main Association is a division of the Southaven Chamber. Its threefold approach is a powerful economic development tool.



• DeSoto Business Expo

  The annual Expo is designed to offer our members a unique opportunity to showcase their businesses and services in a professional setting. This SOLD OUT EVENT with more than 100 vendors is the Chamber's and DeSoto County's largest business to business networking opportunity.



• Lists & Labels

  Exclusive membership list free with membership. Ready-to-use mailing labels are also available for purchase.



• Member to Member Discounts

  Participation is FREE and gives members the opportunity to offer and purchase goods or services at discounted rates. Check out the current  from Chamber members in the Business Directory.



• Grand Openings / Ribbon Cuttings / Ground Breakings

  These ceremonies increase the visibility of new and expanding businesses. The Chamber provides pre-event and post-event publicity including photos to all media outlets. Invitations are extended to the Mayor, Chamber Ambassadors, members and guests. Photos are included in the Chamber Network newsletter.



• Committees

  Eligibility to participate in the organization. A variety of committees allow members to fulfill a specific interest or to contribute in their field of expertise.



• Resource Center

  As a Chamber we can be a clearing house for resource and reference materials that can help businesses succeed. Samples of the printed materials that are available at our Chamber office include community demographics, local phone directories, community calendar, maps, member brochures and business cards. We are always looking for the information that you need and ways to make it available.



• Advertising

  High visibility and advertising value are offered to members who sponsor select events such as DeSoto Business Expo, Coffee & Conversation, Quarterly Luncheons, Business After Business and the Annual Membership Meeting & Award Luncheon. Advertising opportunities are available for members in the monthly Chamber Network. Opportunity for inclusion of a full-page ad or coupon in Southaven's Visitor's Packets or Relocation Packets to be mailed and/or distributed.
