Southaven Magazine Photography and Art Contests
Photography Contest
Southaven Chamber of Commerce is seeking photography submissions for the annual Southaven Magazine photo awards, an opportunity to share your vision of the Southaven, MS community. Consider images of community areas, people of action, government, schools, architecture, nature, or general interest. We’re especially interested in photos that capture everyday life in your community.
Rules
Participants must live in or work in Southaven, MS.
Note: Aritificial Intelligence (AI) generated or altered photographs are not eligible for submission. Enhancing photos in photo editing software is acceptable.
Limit one entry per person and 3 photographs per entry. Photos must have been created since 1 January 2025.
Proof of likeness releases may be requested. Photographs must have been taken since 1 January 2025.
Photographs must be submitted between November 15, 2025 at 12:00 AM Central Standard Time (“CST”) and January 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Questions should be sent to info@southavenchamber.com with the subject line "Photo Awards."
Awards
Top 3 winners will be published with a short bio and image description/inspiration in the 2026 Southaven Magazine and a print of each photograph will hang in the Southaven Chamber offices from May 1, 2026-January 1, 2027. The First-Place winner will also earn a solo showing at the August 2026 Chamber Quarterly Luncheon consisting of 5 photographs (1 being the winning photograph), and a complementary luncheon ticket.
Visual Art Contest
Southaven Chamber of Commerce is seeking 2-D art submissions for the annual Southaven Magazine art awards, an opportunity to share your inspiration of the Southaven, MS community and promote arts in the community. Consider inspirations from community areas, people of action, government, schools, architecture, nature, or general interest. We’re especially interested in themes that capture everyday life in your community.

Participants must live in or work in Southaven, MS.
Note: Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated, AI altered works, and graphic designs are not eligible for submission.
Limit one entry per person and 3 artworks per entry. Artwork must have been created since 1 January 2025.
